May 2012 Gig Schedule-Newsletter

April was a great month! I had such a great time playing for the Enoch Pratt library kids events again this year, click here to read my blog post on that. Let's plunge forward into the May schedule which has some great shows, and I'm including a sneak preview of the June schedule, because there are some genuinely special events coming up that you will not want to miss! Click "read more" to, um, read more.

Scroll to the bottom of this post for a full detailed itinerary.
In May I have some of my usual acoustic shows, plus two special band gigs:

May 11 - I will be performing a full show at the Barn with the Dave DeMarco Band. It will be a great night of cool and unexpected classic rock covers, and I'll be jamming with some very talented musicians! Dave is well known as a top notch bass player and singer who has done countless gigs with many of the area's best bands including Crack The Sky and Never Never. We will be joined by the fantastic John Davis on drums.

May 25 - Baltimore's own Steely Dan tribute band, Technicolor Motor Home,  comes to Annapolis for our first ever show at Rams Head Onstage,
a superb sit-down concert-dining venue.

And in June, there are a ton of extra special gigs in a wide variety of styles. As a bonus, many of them are daytime shows open to all ages!

June 3 - I'll be playing with two bands in one day at the Charles Village FestivalHectic Red followed by Technicolor Motor Home!

June 10 - Hectic Red plays Honfest, a nationally renowned festival celebrating the uniqueness and fun of Baltimore culture.

June 13 - I'll be doing a rare public classical guitar performance at the Mount Airy library.

June 17 - Technicolor Motor Home plays an outdoor concert at Lurman Woodland Theatre,

June 29 - Hectic Red opens for rock legend Dennis DeYoung, former lead singer of Styx, at the Dundalk Heritage Fair.
